New Army

So, I just bought a box of vampire counts ghouls, mostly for dnd but partly for a new hobby! thats right, im planning on getting into warhammer fantasy. obviously ive got a lot of modeling/painting to do, but if theres any good tips out there for a VC army id appreciate them

Charlie, you should definitely look into the Undead list for Mordheim, and play some Mordheim with us. It's a good introduction to Fantasy, even though it's smaller scale and a few editions back. It will still get you used to the turn sequence, and modifiers.

Charlie Mantic makes a really nice Undead line, and the models are dirt cheap. Jadam has some of their stuff in stock. I'm dying to see someone make an army out of those models ;)

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.
