Lady J was sent to clear a section on the Quarantine zone. She brought along one of her best Death Marshalls and a recruiter. Ryle was also sent with her to do any heavy lifting required. They are moving along doing their job when a bullet shot past Lady J's head. As it turns out the Vicks seeing all the torching wanted to join in the fun and couldn't pass up the opportunity for a good fight vs the fabled leader of the Death Marshalls. Blood and spining metal insued.
My game was vs John with the Vicks. He had the two Vicks, Bishop, a void wretch, and a Wokou Raider. I brought Lady J, Ryle, a Death Marshall, and a Death Marshall Recruiter. His first activation of round 2 unleashed the cyclone of death onto to Lady J. 5 ss and 8 attacks latter she finally fell. Bishop used the oathkeeper to walk twice and charge my Death Marshall killing her with ease. Ryle avenged the leader of the Death Marshalls by killing the Vic of Ashes, who in turn died to Bishops fists next turn. Vic of Blood chain activated and tried to take out my last model. Two 13s later he still stood only taking one hit. In response he tries to take the last few wounds off of her. He makes the hit, weak will kill her and flips the black joker for damage. Wokou raider finishes the job. Vicks won 8-4

If you can't dazzle them with brilliance baffle them with BS. If that doesn't work, riddle them with bullets.

Confirming Corwin's report. The Viks took down Lady J 8-4.
Turn 2 was a thing of beauty (for me). Using the new upgrade Sisterly Bonds, Vik of Ashes used her 0 action to make the Woku Raider a sister. Unfortunately, 1AP had to be spent walking to get within 6 inches of Lady J before casting Dragon's Bite and bringing Ashes, Blood, and their new adopted Raider into base contact. I was able to get 5AP off Dragon's Bite (hit a couple of Whirlwind triggers) before chaining into Blood for Flight of Dragons and another 3AP. Of the 8, only two failed, and Lady J got in her Riposte only once. Corwin was getting some really good soulstone damage prevention flips.
There were only two things that made it from being true artwork. One was having to waste an AP on Ashes to walk versus casting Sisters in Fury. Two was that Ashes was the one that killed Lady J and not Blood, which prevented a healing flip that might have kept her alive against Ryle's revenge attack later in the turn.
Overall, an exciting outing.

Raspy and Ramos had a little showdown in Malifaux, with Raspy being surprisingly effective at walking away from Raptors, and Ramos sitting the middle of the table to get nuked. The most festively decorated tree did it's job throwing models wherever it pleased, and kept Killjoy tied up for Raspy to Paralyze it every chance she had. With the death of Ramos, and all but 2 spiders and a paralyzed Killjoy remaining, Tony conceded halfway through turn 3. VP was only 1-0 at that point in favor of Raspy.

Confirming Steve's report. I went in with a plan and then immediately threw it away and he stomped on me.

“What you need to understand Doctor Sokolov is the thin line that people like yourself run between bleeding edge augmentation and illegal amalgamation. I’ve had to speak with Doctor Ramos about this matter several times in the past and-“ Hoffman cut his monologue short. Something was making noise in the brush up ahead. This was supposed to be a relatively quiet assignment to clear land for a Guild development. Things in Malifaux were rarely that easy.
Using his innate abilities Hoffman began to empower his mechanical companions, increasing their strength and speed and allowing them to share the soulstone energy that powered them. He gestured for the Steamborg that had been accompanying them to move forward. Suddenly a shot rang out, ricocheting off of the metal gamin at his side.
“Leave this area at once!” ordered a german-accented voice. “This zone is slated to be cleared for a Freikorps base.”
“Commander Von Schill?” Hoffman’s eyes widened as the mercenary and a number of his men stepped from behind trees and bits of rubble. “There must be some mistake. This area has been claimed for official Guild use.”
“I think not Charles.” Von Schill’s hand reached to his belt, perhaps to produce a contract, but his hand strayed a bit too close to his clockwork pistol for the liking of Hoffman’s Steamborg bodyguard, who lept on the Freikorps leader in an instant. The fight was on.
Grabbing for his pistol Von Schill put two rounds into the Steamborg before being tossed to the ground as the weight of the machine-woman hit him full-force. Sighing, Hoffman focused his efforts on controlling the Steamborg, who had been engaged by a Freikorps solider in a Strongarm Suit - one of the few things capable of fighting toe-to-toe with a Ramos-built Steamborg. Hoffman was vaguely aware of Alexi moving forward to deal with the other Freikorps, bullets pinging off of his mechanical arm as the man shielded his head from fire.
The engagement was short and brutal. Alexi’s twin axes felled a Freikorps soldier and librarian, while the Steamborg’s mechanical pincers sheared through the hardend armor of the Strongarm Suit. Alexi had his blades held to the neck of a young swordswoman, the last standing member of the group, when Von Schill finally called out from where he had collapsed on the ground.
“I yield!”
Confirming 9/0 against Jacob. A very lethal game.
