Running Demos

Postby Inquisitor Wall » Sun Dec 20, 2009 11:38 am

SO I have the arena finished and terrain made (not to my credit, but thanks Mike for the amazing job.) I have 5 models fully painted, and more on the way. Going over rules, and making printouts over vacation.
So anyone interested in getting some demo days together. I would prefer to avoid Wednesdays, since it is pretty busy and loud already. But if that is the only day that works, I would not be entirely opposed to it.
I am looking to start running demos after the first of the year.
Let me know if youd be interested and what day works for you.

Well you know I'm into it. I'm not sure what days I would be available, it depends on the Wife's schedule.

Yeah I have been waiting to give this a try. I am glad to see it didn't fizzle out. Have three models assembled and somewhat painted.

Wednesday nights would work best for me but any other weekday night I could make the trek as well.

I will probably run 1-2 on Wednesdays in Jan. My hope is to start running them on days where there are other events to pique some interest.

I'd be open to pretty much any other night. The place is so loud on Wednesdays, it's going to be hard to run demos.

This morning, AoW announced that they are suspending support for their game. They are going to make it a miniatures only company. They said they hope that this is temporary, but since they have fallen behind in creating new rules that they do not want people to anticipate new upcoming rules releases. This also means that any models that have come out since the chaos warrior will not be getting rules. I hope to make rules for the newer models once I get more accustomed to the game. However, promoting a game that is not going to be supported may become difficult.
I do still plan to run demos in the upcoming weeks however.
