Hey Natasha! Some Fyreslayer talk

Just to help you get primed to play, there is some talk about the Fyreslayers on The Grand Alliance here http://www.tga.community/forums/topic/3 ... ment-29738

The first battle at The Warlords was a great Fyreslayers army that did well. Yes, I've watched the whole video...while painting! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tc_Q64yOhKk

The lists I have seen people taken to tournaments (posted on internet) and done ok seems to revolve around this core setup.

1 Runefather on Magmadroth (general)/ (or Runefather on foot (general) plus a Runeson/Runesmiter on Magmadroth)

2 Runesmiters (to try to mitigate the slow movement by tunneling units)

1 Battlesmith (walking with the Vulkites)

30 Vulkites with shields (to act as an anvil)

10 Hearthguards (or 15+ Vulkites)

10 Hearthguards

…then you have 500p left to add some Auric Hearthguards and Grimwrath Berzerkers or another magmadroth.

But I don’t really think we have found the best way to play Fyreslayers yet.
What aims do the Orks have? What is the point of a tornado?

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.
