I'm looking forward to both (new WFB and Avengers 2).
What aims do the Orks have? What is the point of a tornado?

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

Thanks for the link Kevin. I have not read any of the rule book story or any of the new end times books. Which one has the story for the Ogres and Dwarves? They are my main FB armies and I would like to at least get up to date with the background fro them.

Edit: Or I could just read Kinne's up to date post....

I'm late to the party, but I just wanted to piggyback on what Kevin said: If they pull in the Green Knight to kick Archaeon in the nuggets, I will need a few minutes alone and then I will want to play fantasy again.
This just goes to show: No matter how stupid and useless a weapon may look to you, some guy in Asia with too much time on his hands has figured out how to use it to kill five ninjas.

Well, the Green Knight is actually Gilles the Uniter, so it's possible. But I have a feeling that honor will fall to Karl Franz. The Empire tends to get more of the glory when it comes to battling Chaos (although Altdorf probably would have fallen without Louen).

I really think if they are actually going to be shrinking the number of armies as a result of the End Times, a uniting of Empire and Bretonnia to kill/defeat Archeon would make sense. Also, I really haven't heard anything new about the Green Knight since the big reveal in book 1, so having that as a culminating battle would be fitting since Valten has already fallen.

Does he die in the Skaven book? He was still alive by the end of Glottkin.

I am pretty certain Valten, and some high priest of sigmar both die in Thanquil.

I saw that this morning, I'm cautiously interested.

There is a cluster of Warhammer licenses games coming out this year. Here's to the good ones but I have a feeling a lot of them won't be that great.
