Page 134 – Lords
Replace both paragraphs with: “You can spend up to 50% of your points on Lords. Lords are the most powerful characters in your army, individuals possessed of fearsome martial or magical might.”

Page 134 – Heroes
Replace both paragraphs with: “You can spend up to 50% of your points on Heroes. Heroes are lesser characters, not as intrinsically deadly as Lords, but still worth a score of ordinary warriors.”

That is great stuff.

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

Not like GW to clarify something in a logical fashion.

It's just using the stuff from the Nagash book, which everyone assumed would become standard anyway.

Now you can slap two daemon princes in a list. Or two GUOs. Or a pair of blender vamp lords.

We're back to Herohammer.

Welcome back to hero hammer. Now as long as you meet core requirements, the rest of your army can be heroes. Or you can fit a lord on a dragon in a 1,000 point army.
GW just needs to finish their shift to you can play anything you want in any army, no need to find balance.

Has anyone played against or with the new Nagash rules? Or the changes to using undeath for any wizard? Though that question may be too early to ask as the FAQ was just recently released.

I do like the idea of a large block of Ironguts or Ogres with all the heroes and lords I can stuff into it with a wizard being able to summon un dead as a redirect unit. Though I am not exactly sure how those rules work exactly I want to get a hold of a copy of those rules to make sure.
